ABOUT ME - I Moved to Israel 8 years ago. I Was in 1% of the world best players in Dota2 (online video game) and was the youngest psychometry teacher in Israel. I like to play board and competitive games, read fantasy, science, fiction and nonfiction Books and listen to music.
ABOUT THE CHALLENGE - The Afimilk company is developing, manufacturing and marketing advanced computerized systems for the modern dairy farm and for herd management. The first electronic milk meter in the world was introduced by Afimilk in 1977. The company’s systems are installed and in use on thousands of farms in 50 countries across five continents.
ABOUT THE DATA - The dataset will include reports such as: milk-report from milking sensors (Afimilk MPC milk meter) and cow-report from cows monitoring sensors etc.
ABOUT ME - I was born and raised in Haifa. I did "shnat sherut" in a boarding school called "Hadasa Neurim". I served in "Orev Zanhanim" - a paratrooper's unit of the IDF. I like cooking, hiking and above all watching TV series. I'm a B.Sc student of Data science and engineering at the Technion and work as a guide of teenagers group in the scouts.

In our research we try to uncover the most significant features or patterns that may assist in evaluating a property’s price behavior in the future.

ABOUT THE CHALLENGE - As the main data representation format of the Semantic Web, an ontology is a way of showing the properties of a subject area and how they are related, by defining a set of concepts and categories that represent the subject, thus making Internet data machine-readable. Currently, most of the data in the world is represented in a relational form and companies are starting to manually change its representation to ontology based representation. Together with the Italian company Bolzano and their team, our goal is to automate that process using information retrieval and pattern matching algorithms.
ABOUT THE DATA - In order to fully explore the automation process of relational represented data, we work with several databases connected to different subjects. I mainly work with NPD – Norwegian Petroleum Directorate and UOBM - The University Ontology Benchmark databases, each representing different difficulties and challenges we want to overcome in our work.
ABOUT ME - I am a B.Sc. student in Data Science and Engineering. Previously I was the director of studies in a private Psychometry and Bagrut learning center, also teaching math and Psychometry myself. I like playing the guitar, going to music concerts and festivals, play video-games. Also I like to travel abroad for scuba diving and skiing.
ABOUT THE CHALLENGE - Automatic systems are growing ever more popular in countless fields. The main challenge is combining the optimization of a system's mechanism while ensuring that humans can comfortably interact with it. The system in this case is the automatic shading mechanism in a very large office building, and the goal is maximizing both energetic efficiency and human comfort.
ABOUT THE DATA - The dataset contains all the positions of all the shades in the building in 10-minute intervals, thus recording the observed interaction of humans with the mechanism. In addition, we have weather reports and metadata about the rules applied to the shades. Using the observed behaviors and comparing them to the metadata and weather data, we can attempt to predict preferences as well as create optimal rules for the automatic mechanism.
ABOUT ME - Currently a B.Sc. student at the Technion's faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management. When I'm not sitting in front of my computer or reading, I try and spend all my time outdoors, preferably hiking.
